01 In the acentric notation the groups of cells are indicated by blocks of cells. The four central cells of B$A are (A01, A02, A03 and A04). B$A is also known as the ‘Basic Center’.

02 The next block out is B$B (B01 to B12) and is known as the middle center. Room: chamber, secret room that hides forbidden knowledge, womb, grave. Common fairy tale motif. Room 13 (taboo).

03 B$C, known as the outer center comprises C01 to C20.

04 On an 8 x 8 board the largest block of cells is B$D (D01 to D28).
